How can you check your back links count?

I need to know about backlinks live on the web. How can you check your back links? I need to know the total numbers of backlinks my site has and how much they are effective. Also need to know how many number of shares and if they are in the anchor text or not and also if those are no followed link.

How can you check your back links count?

Hi Aston,

Check the total number of backlinks using the free link counter online. Enter the URL of your site and check for the count that shows you the number of backlinks.

Also you can download a tool to count the backlinks from Majestic SEO website. Sign up free and download the Majestic SEO toolkit.

One of the most complete tools for tracking the traffic on your website is still Google Analytics. You can access it using your Google account via the following link: http://www.google.com/analytics/. 

 

Once you've registered your website and placed a code into your homepage, Google will gather and store all the information about your website including the backlinks.

 

You can also try some simpler online tools designed just for a quick backlink check:
