How to change Gmail account on phone

Hi,

Should I do a factory reset if I want to change my Gmail account on my phone? I was advised that you can go to: setting, apps, Google apps, turn off and clear defaults, then go to market and it will ask for account and sign in with new account. Well with my ROM or any ROM or rooted device this does not exist. No option.

But what is the easiest way to get my apps back. I did back up in Astro. Should I go to each .apk file in the backup folder and hit "install"?

How to change Gmail account on phone

 

Hello Jaycepierce, In order to change Gmail account via your phone, you will be forced to erase everything that you had stored in your phone. It has to be like a new phone to allow the change to occur. Please follow the following steps afterwards; • Click on settings, • Proceed to Apps • Click on Manage Apps • Last but not list, select on Google apps • Then finally clear data From there onwards go to setting- Data Synchronization-then Google will ask you to sign in or create an account. Good luck.

How to change Gmail account on phone

Hi,

Open gmail account>>Account settings>>security>>2-step varification>>settings>>Re-enter password> And insert and delete the phone number.
