How to change the icon for EXE files?

I am in need to replace the icon of the execution file but I don’t know how to do that. Can you show me the way how can I edit setup files?

How to change the icon for EXE files?

 

InstallShield is a software which is commonly used to create setup files or executable files. You can download this software from its official site or simply google that. This is a paid software and can be used to edit/modify executable files. Or some executable files allow to edit their icon image you can find it in their properties. Hope it helps.

Hello Jim,

There is no free MSI editors as MSI packages are very complicated and the process is very hard too. You will have to buy license in order to edit a MSI package.

There are many tools that can be used to this purpose. But I recommend the following tools. These are awesome and also, good.

• InstEd: The best tool according to my choice. It is low of cost, effective and powerful. It can validate more than one file.
• Advanced Installer: Another cool tool. Using its editor, you can do anything with a MSI package, just like playing with a toy.
