How to change text message from name on iPhone?

I and my friend both use a Verizon 4s 16gb . He didn't face this problem but I do. I had deleted all my texts from my phones to start a fresh new phone but contact names are not showing.So, I need to solve the problem and change text message from name on iPhone.

There are several steps you can take to sort out your current problem:

1. Go to Settings > General> International Assist> Language and change it from English to British English and back again.
2. Dial *228> select option 9 and then changed the language to British English and then go back to English.
3. Call *228> select option 1.  Closed all the running applications. Also try to turn off Exchange and iCloud and turn off your SIM off because each may be contributing to the problem.

The default display for text messages on your iPhone makes it possible for anyone who picks up your device to read part of the message you received, making it difficult to keep business-related messages private.
