We come across a lot of articles, photos and presentations. We appreciate them a lot. But we don't know what we are seeing is original or not. How to check if something is copyright?

How to check if something is copyrighted- Follow the steps.

Copyright protects the original work from getting copied be someone else such as novels, documents, etc. We cannot use the copyright products without the permission of the owner. To protect it every country has copyright rules.

Method 1: Try to find the clues in the work itself.

Step 1: Check if it is written on the work itself that is copyright.

Step 2: Check with the help of dates.

Step 3: Find which type of work it is.

Method 2:

Step 1: Search at Copyright Office.

Step 2: Check the certificate of registration. 

Step 3: Ask the Copyright Office to search on your behalf.

Step 4: Get in touch with private search company to do your work.
