Hello techyv experts,
Recently I have attached an external hard drive of 160 GB to my laptop to increase speed. I need now to copy hidden partition from my OS windows XP to new hard drive of 160 GB. Please give a solution with a better way.
Thank you.
How to clone hard drive hidden partition to another hard drive.
Click "Start" and opt for "Control Panel." Click the "Appearance and Personalization," link and choose "Folder
Options" and click "View" tab. Click the radio button under " Show hidden files, folders, and drives" and click "OK." This will allow you to see the hidden partition inside "My Computer."
Visit your HDD Manufacturer's website. Check if they offer system tools package that will allow you to repeat the partition. The procedure may vary depending on the manufacturer, therefore ensure to read the manual.
Download and install third party partition package like EASUS Partition Master, if your portable computer or HDD drive manufacturer doesn't offer system tools.
Click "Start" and choose "All Programs" to launch the package.
Highlight the partition you'd prefer to clone inside the central panel. Click the "Copy" button on the menu bar and additionally the Partition Copy Wizard will begin.
Choose the unallocated space where you want to repeat the partition and click on "Next." The package will copy the hidden restore partition to the unallocated space you will be able to copy it to identical drive, or to a definite drive.
