Hello experts,

How to compile folder to SWF?

I have some folders with a content of photos and other multimedia related videos for my school project. I would like to ask you guys if you are familiar of compiling folder contents to SWF.

For example, a photo converted or compiled and rendered with SWF file?

Share with me your ideas.

How to compile folder to swf?

Hi, 

It’s very easy. Follow the following steps to create a SWF file for the folder contents:

 

1. Open the windows explorer.

2. Go to the folder that contains the compiler, mxmlc.exe. 

• C:Program FilesAdobeFlex Builder 2Flex SDK 2binmxmlc.exe

3. Drag all the contents of folder on the icon of mxmlc.exe. All these files will got compiled if it gives no error messages

4. The SWF file will be there in the bin folder.
