How to Completely Uninstall Kaspersky Internet Security 2011?

I have the Kaspersky Internet Security, 2011 version, for my PC but I want to acquire the KIS Booster 2012 version. Can anyone tell me how I can uninstall the KIS 2011 completely and install the latest version? Thanks.

How to Completely Uninstall Kaspersky Internet Security 2011?

Hi Heather!

You can follow these steps to correctly uninstall Kaspersky Internet Security 2012.

1. First, to avoid errors, exit the application. To do this, right click on the Kaspersky logo, then click exit.
2. After exiting, go to Start > All Programs> Kaspersky Internet Security 2011> Repair or Remove
3. Once the dialog box appear, click on the icon of the "Remove" tool.
4. You will then be given an option to 

• Complete Uninstall – Remove completely all files corresponding to the application
• Save application objects – This is recommended if you will be upgrading the version or will be using the program again in the future.

        5. Then confirm the uninstallation process, and restart your computer after the process has ended.
