Hello techyv,

How to connect multi lan player games?

Me and my cousins are planning to connect counter strike game as a multiplayer lan game so that we can be able to play together. I was confused on the proper setup in the local area network.

Can you give me a step by step instruction to possibly make this possible?

How to connect multi lan player games?

Hi  

1. First you should buy straight patch Ethernet LAN cable
2. Then LAN cable to both computers
3. go to Network connection in control panel
4. Then right click on the local area net work connection & select properties
5. select TCP/IP & click on properties
6. in the TCP/IP properties enter following address (PC –No 01)

192.168.0.1 As IP Address and 255.255.255.0 as a subnet mask & leave other details empty & click on OK

7.In the TCP/IP properties of the machine enter following details (PC –NO 02)

192.168.0.2 As IP Address and 255.255.255.0 as a subnet mask & leave other details empty & click on OK

8.Now restart both machines

Now your small LAN is ready to work

If you want to play counter-strike game on your LAN, refer below method

You should create a game server on counter strike game & join the LAN server by giving your IP addresses
