You can download any free convertor that will convert your file Excel to word or text file. And it is free also.

One of this is excel to text 2009 converter. Their download link is given below.

First download this and install on your computer. After installation you can run this program and convert any excel file to word or text. You can convert a lot of excel file to word or text.

Second way to change excel to word is that, You can copy your excel text and paste it to your favorite text editor or ms word.

How to convert excel to text

 

Which version of ms excel are you using? If it ms excel 2007 0r ms excel 2010, then it is possible that you can save the excel file that you want to convert to a text file directly from the excel itself. All you have to do it do the following:

• On your computer click on start, and then All Programs.
• Look for MS Office from the list, expand the tab and then open Ms excel.
• Locate the excel file that you need to convert by going to file in the excel menu and then choosing open.
• When the file is opened, you can now choose the option for saving the file.
• Go to file and then save as.
• Choose the Other Output formats option.
• In the save as dialog box, choose Text (Tab delimited option), and then save the document.
•
