How to convert mp4 to wmv ubuntu? I have some mp4 files that needed to be converted to wmv file extension, do you have some knowledge about converters which is compatible with Ubuntu operating system? Compatibility measurements is very necessary to avoid future problems.

There are few very useful packages are available which can help you to do few bundles of converts in just few minutes. You can use WinFF, Hyper Video converter and ffmpeg. All these three converter packages are well known and very much popular to do its job. But ffmpeg is the best between them. You just have to give one line command to change a file and it will do its work in very short time with quality. Now download the package from internet and install that. Now in terminal write the command.

Ffmpeg –i filename output.wmv
