It is easy to convert Raw format to JPG if you are using Adobe Photoshop CS5. 1 and following these steps
1. RAW files are camera negatives. So at first import your photo in Adobe Bridge and double click on the RAW format.
2. This file will be open in the Camera Raw window. Now you can edit as you wish with color effects.
3. Save the file and open it in Photoshop.
4. Now follow the sequence File > Scripts > Image Processor and convert as you wish.
5. After that save your image.
You can try it in other way. There are a lots of cameras can take pictures both in RAW and JPG format.
So you want to avoid formatting your images each time you may think to buy a camera like that.
That will save a lot of your time.
