How to cool a laptop?

I have a new HP laptop which overheats when I play some video games or when I'm doing video editing. I know it's not really unusual but what can I do about it? I thought about buying a cooling pad, but I'm not sure how does it works? Can it help maybe?

How to cool a laptop?

Cooling pads helps to keep your system cool. It works from outside but it's wprk process is more or less same as the fan set inside a CPU. External cooling pads are helpful to keep your system cool but if your system is getting exceptionally hot then it will not work and the problem lies somewhere else.

How to cool a laptop?

That problem is pretty common in laptops because of their compact built. Overheating is just a normal thing when using this kind of portable computing device.
