How To Create A Book Index And Increase Your Knowledge

Hi. To know how to create a book index, first mark the index entries by either selecting the text to use existing text or click on the place where the text is to be inserted. Next, in the index group on the references menu, click on mark entry option. To create your own index entry, type the text or edit it.

The entry can also be customized. Click on mark to mark the index entry. After this, create the index by clicking on a location where the text is to be inserted. Click on index entry option from the references tab. An index layout can then be designed. To delete the index entry, select the field and click on the delete option. Click on the update index option from the references menu.
