How to create professional dhtml Java smooth menu?

I have some dhtml Java smooth menu. I have downloaded these from the internet. But those are not like the one I want. I have tried to change those with color, background, hover, padding and border. I can not do so much on that. Is there any complete instruction or tutorial about how to work with dhtml Java smooth menu code? Please help me.

Greetings Ericson Eric,

I'm afraid that I can't help you much unless you give me the file you downloaded or show me where I can download it in order to see how it can be applied. What you need is either a CSS tutorial or  JAVA SCRIPT tutorial.

The best site that i know to Codeacademy.

You can start to learn some basics there and it's pretty much fun to do it through exercises.

You have HTML, CSS and JavaScript tutorials.

From my small experience I try to help you for solve your problem. I think a large amount of these CSS and JavaScript tutorials are intended at skilled web designers.

If you're a learner, I suggest W3schools, somewhere you can take an interactive chain of tutorials at no cost; Treehouse which provide high class training videos and tests you during quiz and code challenge or Code Academy, an interactive lessons where you can learn.
