How to create a table in InDesign with different methods?

The easiest way to represent data is by creating tables. We can create tables by using Adobe InDesign creative suite.

Method 1-

Step 1: Create a area of text and type into it. You can simply add text between every new entry through the Tab key.

Step 2: After selecting the text, click on the option of Table and then Convert Text to Table.

Step 3: Dialog box will appear then select the columns and also assign the Table design. Click OK.

Step 4: You can also stretch the Table by holding the Shift key and using your mouse.

Step 5: For merging select Table and then Merge Cells.

Method 2-

Step 1: With the help of a Type tool, create a new text frame.

Step 2: Make the insertion point active by double clicking in the text frame.

Step 3: Choose Table and then Insert Table.

Step 4: For the addition of the Tables and Columns mention the number in the dialog box. Click OK.
