The best software to use for editing or cropping is without any doubt Adobe Photoshop. But you will have to spend $199. You can purchase the product from this link: http://www.adobe.com/products/photoshopfamily.html?promoid=JOLIW.

You can also use free softwares. There are two best freewares. These are PhotoScape and Picasa.
