How to cutting images into sections

Hello, I am interesting for Photoshop. I am using Photoshop CS4 and I need to know about how to cutting images into sections. I need to cut 600*600 sizes. Please let me know how to cutting images into sections by using Photoshop. Thanks.

How to cutting images into sections

Hi Jeff,

In Photoshop press Ctrl + R to turn the documents rulers on. You will see the pixel meter around the image. Click on the top ruler and drag the line down where you want to make the incision. You can adjust it after selecting it in case of an error.

Repeat the process with the left side ruler, and then simply select the area with the Rectangular Marquee tool and cut or copy it out where you want it.
