How to decrypt a mdi file?

Hello experts,

I downloaded a file from the internet but it is encrypted and as long as it is on that status I can’t open any single detail on that file. So I need to decrypt it in order for me to access those encrypted files. Can you help me on how to decrypt a mdi file? I wish you can give me a clear instruction to get this done.

How to decrypt a mdi file?

 

Hi Mia,

An mdi file can be decrypted by converting it into an image file using converter software. The image can now be read easily as it will be decrypted. Follow the steps below:

1. Go to http://www.brothersoft.com/mdi-viewer-438247.html and download the MDI viewer software. Save the setup file on your desktop and run it to install the software.

2. After installation, restart your computer for the registry changes to take place.

3. Now, run the program from the desktop. Go to the file tab and click open. Go to the location where you saved the mdi file and select the mdi file and click ok.

4. Now, go to the tools tab and click on convert option. A list of the formats to which you can convert the mdi file will be displayed, select the jpeg format and click ok.

The file will be converted to jpeg and saved on your desktop.
