I have to permanently erase some files from my computer, and so I have removed it from the recycle bin also as per the best of my knowledge. But, recently I have read that the data can still be restored from the HDD. So, please tell how to delete all data from hard drive?

How to delete all data from hard drive manually?
If you want to make sure that someone else doesn’t get access to your data, you should erase it from the HDD also. The methods to do this are as follows:
1. Boot and Nuke method:
 Download DBAN (Darik’s Boot and Nuke) for Windows from here: https://dban.org/
 Burn DBAN to a CD and make sure you get the ‘ISOLINUX’ folder.
ï‚· Restart your computer while leaving the CD in.
ï‚· Carefully select the disk whose data you want to delete.
2. Selective File Wipe method:
ï‚· You can use the following programs to erase the unused space while leaving your PC operable.
ï‚· Microsoft SDelete- Delete files and directories securely.
ï‚· Wipe File- Overwrites the Disk Space not in use.
 WBD (Wipe Bad Disks) – Deletes the data from the disks with bad sectors.
