I connected my Buffalo 500GB external HDD with my PC with Windows XP, in order to take a backup, but when I connected it to my PC, it automatically created a virtual drive on my PC. How can I remove or delete Buffalo Virtual CD ROM that came with my External Hard Drive ? My Hard drive model is HD-PXT1TU2 (Buffalo Inc.). Please guide.

How to delete Buffalo Virtual CD ROM
This is a simple issue that we can encounter every day is using Windows. To solve this problem you have to do follow these steps:
1. First of all open the “Device Manager”.
2. Then select the “Virtual Driver” >> click on the device.
3. Go to the “Properties” >> click on “Disable” .
4. Now Click “OK” to uninstall the Driver
That’s all. The PC will restart. After startup see the virtual driver has gone.
