Hi techyv,

How to delete temp folder in joomla? I have so many temporary file folders in my joomla programming language, some are not useful anymore and was a draft. Can you share some ideas on how to delete unnecessary files?

How to delete temp folder in joomla?. So many temp files

Hi Mia,

These steps might help you in deleting Temp files in Joomla!:

 

• You have to download explorer component to this link The Joomla! Extensions Directory
• To install it, Log in to Joomla! Administrator with your Admin username and password.
• In the Extension Menu, select Install/Uninstall then click Browse.
• Locate the component .zip file then right click it and click open. Then click Upload File & Install.
• After Installation, from the component menu, go to eXtplorer. When it is opened. in the left side list of folders, locate the folder you desired to delete.
• Then you can delete it by clicking Delete or by click the red X button on the menu. That's it!
