How to delete temporary files in my laptop?
Hello,
Temporary files are important for programs to run perfectly. But temporary files which are old enough are of no use except making the system slower.
In order to delete the temporary files,
1. From start menu, type “%temp%” >> hit Enter.
2. Delete files which are more than 7 days older.
In the same way, you can delete another folder files called “Prefetc” at “C:WindowsPrefetch”.
But deleting the temporary files manually might cause some malfunction in your system. So, using any good tool is recommended. You should use CCleaner, Wise Care 365 etc. You can delete your temporary files, browser junk files, invalid registries with a single click.
