I am using Windows 7 with several user accounts I want to delete auser profile from registry permanently. I want to know the steps to perform the operation.

How To Delete A User Profile From The Registry?

The below given are the steps to delete a user profile from the windows registry. However, any critical problem may occur if the registry values are modified incorrectly. Hence, make sure that you have a backup of the registry.

Step 1: Press Ctrl+R and type “Regedit”

Step 2: Go to the following path inside registry

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWARE–>Microsoft–>Windows–>CurrentVersion–>ProfileList

Step 3: Select the Profile List keys you want to delete and right click.

Step 4: Select the Delete option. The Profile Key will be deleted.

Step 5: Restart your PC for the changes to take effect.
