I want to demote a 2003 domain controller, please guide me to how to demote domain controller 2003 and also for 2008 Windows server, and for SP1 and SP2 of 2003 Windows server?

How To Demote Domain Controller 2003?

Please follow the following steps to demote 2003/2008 domain controller

1. Click start and the run on a domain controller.

2. In the run, type dcpromo to open the Active Directory and then click next.

3. Click next and follow the wizard. This applies to Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2008, Windows Server 2003 R2, Windows Server 2003 SP1, and Windows Server 2003 SP2.
