How to disable ca security anti virus software

Hello Experts,

I am using CA antivirus for a while on my windows XP PC. Now for some reason I want to disable CA security for one hour. Please advise me how to disable ca security on my PC.

How to disable ca security anti virus software

Hello Dear,

 

Thanks for asking us.

 

Dear there are two ways to disable the CA security for required time.

 

The first method is this, please right click on CA security icon in system tray. It will open a pop up list, choose security from this list.

 

Now one more list will appear, choose disable security services.

 

Now the services are disabled, you can repeat this method to enable the services again.

 

The other method is this. Type msconfig in run menu. It will open the Microsoft configuration utility. Click on services tab and disable all services of CA Antivirus.
