How to disable coverflow is it possible?

I feel many people agree with me and also dislike coverflow. So I thought is there any possible way to disable it. I really dislike having to get hands on with my iPhone, vertically rotate it just to bring back the normal view or to switch to a different song. So I’m curious to find a way of doing these tasks while my iPhone is horizontal in my pocket.

Is there anything I might be missing?

How to disable coverflow is it possible?

To disable the coverflow from your iPhone device, press the Home button twice and then swipe the taskbar to the right. Hit the orientation lock icon on the left side of the taskbar. It is the circular arrow. When it is lock to portrait mode, the audio on your iPhone will not switch to cover flow even if you turn your iPhone horizontally.
