How to display a long sentence in a single cell?
I am a newcomer to Microsoft excel therefore I have a little knowledge.
When I type something on a cell it will appear crossing all front cells.

When you type something on the cell it will cross the other cells.
However, If you want to have it in a single cell please follow the below steps.
First type the sentence or paragraph in a single cell that you want. (E.g.: we assume the cell is B3).
Point to note: please do not drag any cell before and after type the sentence or paragraph.
Then select the cell that you typed and go to the Home tab, alignment section and click on the “Wrap text” option.
Then the answer you expected will be displayed as shown in the below picture.
What you need is a word wrap.
To do that, write the sentence that you want to see inside the cell.
Then follow these steps:
1. Right-click on the cell which contains the sentence.
2. Look for the “Format Cells…”
3. When you see the new window, select on the “Alignment” tab.
4. Look for “Text control under “Alignment” tab.
5. Click the check box which says “Wrap text”. And there you have it, an entire sentence in a single cell.

Here is the solution if you are using Microsoft Excel 2010.
1. At first, write something in a cell says F8. It’s the solution.
2. Double click on that cell, and go to the same row, you will see the see is bigger.
3. Under home tab, there is a button named Wrap text.
4. Now point at ate left most corner of the sheet marking right arrow for selection of row 8.
5. Select desired row.
6. Click on wrap text button.
7. Experiment this and you will learn some other things.

One, warp text in cells with Wrap Text Command and Two, Wrap Text with adding carriage or hard returns in cells.

Microsoft Excel XP 2003/2002.
Select the cell that contains long sentence.
Microsoft Excel 2007/2010.
Use the steps for Excel 2003/2002 or use the following:
