Hello. I'm using Mozilla Firefox as my web browser and Windows OS 7. How do I capture my browser screen shots and save them as a JPEG image file? Is there also a keyboard shortcut for this? Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Thank you.
How do I capture browser screen shots?
Hi Clemon,
I have read your issue. The simple steps for you to get a printshot of your screen are:
1. Look for a key on your keyboard “prtsc”
2. Anytime you want a printshot press the key
3. Now click on the Start button and open “Paint” application
4. Either click on “Paste” option or press Ctrl+V on your keyboard
5. Save the image in the format that you need
Alternately, you can download an application called Jing which is very handy for taking screenshots. The link for downloading Jing is: https://www.techsmith.com/download/jing/
I hope your issues have been resolved now.
How do I capture browser screen shots?
Hi Clemon Swynn,
You can use “PrtSc SysRq” (Print Screen System Request) key from keyboard to capture your browser screen shots and save them as a JPEG image file.
The process is already described by Kristopher T Stark. But by this process you can’t capture your browser full page. I have a different option. Awesome Screen Shot offer you to capture the whole page or any portion of the browser.
Follow the steps:
1. Visit to the site.
2. Then click on Firefox version.
3. Install the add-ons to your browser.
4. Restart the browser.
5. Go to the page that you want to capture.
6. Click the right button on it. Click Awesome ScreenShot > Click ‘Capture visible part’ or ‘Capture full page’ as you want.
7. Annotate or mark it with circles, arrows, rectangles, lines and text.
8. Then you can save it on your local disk as JPEG or upload to share.
