For browsing the internet I am using Mozilla Firefox. I am a very old user and I don’t have such a big issue with it. Actually I think it may create a security problem for me. My problem is that, whenever I open a website for form filling, I always find my some sensitive information is already filled in forms. I don’t want to use this auto-fill option. Please tell me how to remove my information that comes up with every time I start typing in a textbox?

How do I clear auto fill data in mozilla firefox?
Bngari,
Let me show you how to disable autofill forms saved in your FIREFOX browser.
Step 1: Open Firefox and click on the TOOLS menu:
Step 2. In the Tools Menu, select OPTIONS
Step 3. in the OPTIONS window: 1. click on PRIVACY TAB; 2. click on DROP DOWN ARROW; 3. Choose USE CUSTOM SETTINGS
Step 4: When the interface for Custom History Settings show up, uncheck the REMEMBER SEARCH AND FORM HISTORY, click OK when done.
Happy Computing,
How do I clear auto fill data in mozilla firefox?
Hello Ngari,
Those forms come up in Firefox because you have enabled the option for remembering form history when you are using the Firefox browser. You will therefore need to change that option. But first of all, I will recommend that you clear your browser cache by going to: Tools > Clear Recent Browsing History.
After that you will need to do the following:
-
With Firefox open, you will need to go to Tools, and then click Options.
-
After that click on "Privacy" in the window that will open,
-
And then look for the drop down menu that says "Remember History" and change it to "Never remember history".
Hope this helps.
Regards,
Carl
