How do I configure PTCL connect in Mac?

Hello, 

I just purchased a PTCL EVO 3G Wireless Broadband USB stick with 3.1 Mbps broadband speed.  I insert it on my Mac, but I'm always having a connection error.  How do I manually configure PTCL connect in Mac?  I have an iMac with OSx Mountain Lion.

How do I configure PTCL connect in Mac?

Hi,

Your device is supposedly a plug and play device. If it does not work, do the following:

1. Download the driver here and select your device for MAC.
2. Double click the file to install the driver.
3. Follow the set-up instructions.

If your device still does not work:

1. Make sure your device is properly connected.
2. Check if you need a password to connect and you may have typed it incorrectly.

If the above still doesn’t work:

1. In the Apple menu, select System Preferences.
2. Select Network for Network references.
3. The status indicator should be green, which is active, and red not active.
4. If the status indicator is red, it is time to get help from your ISP for technical help.
