Hello there.
I use AOL Instant Messaging for communicating with my work mates.
How do I delete AIM chat log history?
Sorry, I'm not much of a techyv person.

Your problem is how to delete AIM Chat log history.
If you want to achieve this please follow the instructions blow

Start a chat with the person you want to a delete chat history with.

Click on the drop-down menu in the upper-right corner of the chat window.

Click Clear Chat History.

Click Yes, Clear chat history.
But you should note that this will not clear chat history on the other user's AIM client.
It will only clear the chat history stored on your own AIM window.

I had been found a solution to your problem deleting log messages in your AIM chat log.
Here are the steps to delete those chat logs:
First, open your AOL Instant Messenger or AIM. On the Edit menu select Setting.
After selecting Setting, choose the tab named IM Logging.
And Click on the Delete log files to delete AIM chat history.

If you are using a mac computer you can follow the guide below;

Launch the Aim and sign in with your credentials.

Click AIM, and then follow by clicking preferences.

Click to open the AIM logs,

Followed by clicking the logs options and erase them.
But if you work with pc;

Sign in still with your credentials,

Click to open options on the right side top corner of the list screen, and then click settings;

Continue and click to open IM logs on the display list on the left, and further click to clear all the logs then delete.
