How do I delete viruses regarding LAN network?

Hi.  I have about 5 computers on my local area network.  My internet has been very slow lately. My Avast antivirus detected the Code Red Worm Virus but it could not delete it.  How do I delete viruses regarding LAN network?  Thanks in advance.

You can try to run this patch from Microsoft here.

This patch addresses the way how the Code Red Worm Virus abuses the capability to buffer overflow in the Idq.dll file. You will find on that link the different patches available depending on the server version you have set upped on your network. There is also another patch from Microsoft for IIS which already includes four patches in it see here.
