How do I get my files on my external harddrive to work?

I transferred files to my external hard drive from my laptop. Then when I tried transferring the files from my external hard drive to my desktop some files did not want to open. I already deleted the original copy from the laptop.

How do I get those files in my external hard drive to open?

Yes dear, you are doing the correct thing I have gone through your problem and got that you are doing the same thing the only problem is that you have problem in your laptop or your hard drive do something for these things or put them on hard to solve this problem. How do I get my files on my external harddrive to work?

It seems your data got corrupted so could not open in desktop. But if you want to recover your original data from the laptop then you can try run a recovery software (available for both Win & Mac). The recovery software will recover your original data for access.
