Hi Elsie,
OpenSuse works for Android and Linux, there is limited information on how to enable it with a windows platform. However, making a laptop a hotspot does not need any add on software. You can enable it by opening an elevated Command Prompt and then enter Netsh wlan set hostednetwork mode=allow ssid=”your network name” key=”your own password” and then press enter. And then type in netsh wlan start hostednetwork and then enter. Then go to your control panel -> Network and internet -> Network and sharing center -> Change adapter settings , do a right click and then choose properties. And then click on the sharing tab, put a check on “allow other network users to connect..” choose virtual wifi adapter.
