Hello! Good Day!
As for your concern, no matter what operating system you have, whether it's windows 7 x86 bit or x64 bit or windows XP or whatever operating system you have, You will notice it on your keyboard. If your caps lock is turned on, a light turns on in the upper right of your keyboard.
Now, there are 3 lights in your keyboard, for most keyboards the light in the middle is for the Caps Lock. So if the light in middle in turn on, your caps locks in turned on. The two other lights are for NumLock and Scroll lock.
Hope this helps.
Hello Kate,
You need to activate the caps lock notification on windows 7. BTTray.exe process Handel this notification, edit the registry by pressing the win-key, type "regedit" now go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE -> SOFTWARE -> Widcomm -> BTconfig -> General -> Key indication change it from "0" to "1".
Thanks
You can do the following:
Please follow the instructions below:
When the Caps Lock key on your keyboard is ON, you should see the green LED activated on the upper right corner of the keyboard just above the Num Lock key. But if you want to be notified on the screen, you can try TrayStatus.
It is designed to show you the status of keyboard keys like the Caps Lock, Num Lock, Scroll Lock, Kana, Alt, Ctrl, Shift, and Win keys in the system tray. It supports Windows 7, Windows 8.x, and Windows 10 both 32-bit and 64-bit. For servers, it supports Windows Server 2008 R2, Windows Server 2012, Windows Server 2012 R2, and Windows Server 2016 both 32-bit and 64-bit.
TrayStatus requires Microsoft .NET Framework 4.0 or higher so make sure you have it on your computer before installing. You can also just install the application and let setup install the right version of Microsoft .NET Framework.
