How do I open eml without Outlook Firefox?

Hello fellow members.  I just got an .eml file in Outlook using Mozilla Firefox but it won't open the file.  How do I open eml without Outlook Firefox?  Do I need a software for this?  I have Microsoft Outlook 2007 on a Windows Vista 64 bit system.  Thanks.

How do I open eml without Outlook Firefox?

Hi,

You can open the EML file using Opera or Internet Explorer if Firefox does not open the file. You can do this by changing the email extension to MHT and open the file under the above browsers.

You can also change the EML file to another format and read it through Outlook using some conversion tools.

How do I open eml without Outlook Firefox?

Hello Donna,

You can open a .eml file with a program called thunderbird, download the program then install it, left click on your eml file and choose open with then select thunderbird.

You can also open your eml files with Windows Mail Live.

If you have Outlook Express you just need to open your Inbox then drag your eml file into the outlook window, you should not be on full screen so you can do it.
