I have been using mac discovery to track certain IP addresses. However, it seemed to be tracking almost everything. How do I prevent mac discovery from tracking everything and focus on specified addresses?
How do I prevent Mac discovery from tracking everything?
Hey Becky Dwalsh,
Once you have successfully tracked the MAC address of a computer, you should be able to track the IP address which is attached with that particular MAC address. In the user interface of your program, you may try to put IP address which is assigned to that IP instead of that MAC address in order to focus on specified IP addresses. It is usually needed in networking issues and network monitoring. If you have some issues like network interferences with other devices, try assigning them static IP addresses so as to avoid from those conflicts.
