How do I put RapidWeaver painter template in RapidWeaver?

Hi.  I'm new to web designing so please be patient with me.  I'm trying to create a website that is simple but professional looking.  I just purchased a RapidWeaver painter template.  How do I put the template in RapidWeaver?  Thanks in advance.

How do I put RapidWeaver painter template in RapidWeaver?

 

Hi Elijah,

 

First, you need to install the theme by double clicking on the .rwtheme file and just follow the on screen instructions, or you may place the file to the directory /Library/Application Support/RapidWeaver/Themes. In some RapidWeaver version, double clicking the .rwtheme may not work. In this case, an update is needed.

 

You can apply one theme on the whole website, or have it implemented per page by using the Page Inspector. Pressing CMD + OPTION + T will bring up the Theme Browser. Select the Theme you want to use. Pressing CMD + SHIFT + I will show you the Page Inspector wherein you can customize the General Settings, Page Sidebar, Page Header, Theme Styles and Page Settings.
