I have an email in my Outlook that I think is corrupted. When I open the message, Outlook hangs and eventually crashes. I cannot open, move, delete this particular message. How do I remove corrupt email from Outlook? I use Microsoft Outlook 2003.

A. Locate the you want to delete. The .pst (personal mail storage) and pab personal address book are the usually corrupted files.
To find a .pst file:
Open Outlook.
A.1. On the left side there is a tree view of the folders in Outlook. Each pst file has its own .pst file.
A.2. Right click the folder and select "Properties" from the drop out menu.
A.3. Under the General tab, click the "Advanced" button.
A.4. In the file name dialog box, this is where the path for .pst file.
B. Right click the file, a drop out menu will appear.
C. Select the delete button.
D. Click "yes" to delete the files.

I have had this problem previously. Here is how it's done. First select the corrupt mail that you want to delete. Secondly, press the Shift key and then the Delete key on your keypad. What this does is it will permanently delete the email.
