How do I remove duplicates in Mac Numbers?

Hi there.  I have a database of names, addresses and phone numbers with a lot of duplicate entries in Numbers.  How do I remove duplicates in Mac Numbers?  I'm on OSx Mountain Lion and Numbers 2009.  Thanks in advance.

How do I remove duplicates in Mac Numbers?

Hello,

The easiest method to do this task is to sort out the sheet and remove the duplicates manually.

1. Sort the column.

2. Add a formula like this: “B1=IF(A1=A2,"" ,A1 )”

3. Copy this to all cell in the column.

4. Now, copy column B and paste into column A.

Done.
