Is there a way to retrieve old emails from a previous company I worked for? I forgot to remind my friends that the email address will no longer be used and I think they’re still sending me messages there.
How can I retrieve those mails? Any suggestion will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.
How do I retrieve emails from my old company?
Hello there,
That’s kind of a tricky question. You can ask for IT administrator to grant you access to mails so you can notify your friends that you have changed email address. So I’m hoping that you have remained in a good relationship with the IT guys in your company. If you know your username and password, you can connect via remote access to your mail provider. And that, of course, you have to ask the It guys to tell you what the company provider is.
The most easiest, but not the best solution is to send all of your friends an email from new mail telling them that you’re not using the old email now and they can write it to this mail.

Hi Grahamamie,
That is actually next to impossible but what you could do is get to know your former employer's SLAs (Service Level Agreement) and policy that governs the sharing of emails to outsiders that is when you will understand the company's position.
Alternatively make friends with the IT personnel who controls the e-mail services, then he will forward your information but why don't you go in person to collect the documents on external memory?
