Hello. I'm trying to create a SISX app for my Symbian phone and I was wondering how I could sign Symbian app so that Nokia can certify it? I have a 16 GB Nokia 808 PureView that has 1.3 GHz ARM 11 CPU, Broadcom BCM2763 GPU and Nokia Belle OS. Thanks in advance.
How do I sign Symbian app?
Hi Daniel,
I understand your issue of wanting to create signed SISX app for your Symbian phone. We need to first get the app signed with a developer certificate before it is installed on your phone. The steps are pretty much simple:
1. Click here to visit this site: http://digipassion.com/signing-sissisx-files-for-symbian-s60/
2. Register on the site. The IMEI number of your phone must be given. To find the IMEI number of your phone press *#06#
3. Click on “apply cer” and fill in the necessary details.
4. Wait until you get tour unique certificate and key files.
5. The files can now be used to sign your unsigned SIS/SISX files and make it ready for installation on your device.
I hope the answer solves your issue.
