Please tell me if it is possible to synchronize a general SharePoint datasheet calendar list (calendar view more stated) in SharePoint with Outlook Calendar? Generally SharePoint shows an ideal calendar list available for synchronization process to outlook (actions>connect to outlook). This function is not available anymore in a "rebuild" list along with calendar view. Please guide me on how to "install" this then?
How do I synchronize SharePoint and Outlook Calendars?
Follow these steps:
(i) Go to sharepoint and then, create new calendar and link this calendar to Outlook.
(ii) Now, either from exchange or as a PST, open Source Outlook Calendar.
(iii) Then, click Folder View and open source calendar.
(iv) Keep the source calendar open and click View menu. Then, click on current view and click All Appointments.
(v) Press Ctrl+A and select All Appointments or you can select the one you opt for.
(vi) Now, Drag and Drop selected calendar items to linked sharepoint calendar.
Your problem will be solved.
