I have an ESET NOD32 5 antivirus installed on my desktop that runs on Windows Vista 64 bit. It recently detected a virus and deleted the files infected. How do I undo NOD32 5 deleted file? I need to recover that file. Thanks in advance.
How do I undo NOD32 5 deleted file?
Hello Eliza,
You can find the deleted files in the quarantine folder of the antivirus application, so just open and check there. But if you cannot trace the files in the quarantine, use data-recovery software such as Recover My Files or Advanced Disk Recovery to get back your deleted files.

How do I undo NOD32 5 deleted file?
Hi Dunley,
If the file in questioned is quarantined then you can always restore it but before restoring i want you to be perfectly sure that it is not a malware that will attack and maybe destroy your system.
To restore any file in quarantine just go to your NOD32 Home page and click on Tools, next you click on quarantine and when it is open right click on the file you want to restore and choose "restore" , this should restore your file.
Hope you problem is solved Eliza, if any others bring them up.

How do I undo NOD32 5 deleted file?
Hi Eliza,
I am sure the file has been sent to quarantine.
Open the quarantine folder and restore the data in question.
But before then you need to upload it to the virustotal database to verify its nature.
In my opinion, your file may have been corrupted and has become a malware.
Please visit how to and understand the implications.
Thanks.
