How do I uninstall an input method in Win 7?

My friend worked in Taiwan and he asked me to fix his laptop.

The OS is Windows 7.

The problem is with the input method.

It's in traditional Chinese as he told me.

He wants to set it back to English.

How do I uninstall an input method in Win 7?

How do I uninstall an input method in Win 7?

 

Hi,

You don’t need to uninstall it just follow this steps to change the keyboard input in your laptop PC. Go to Control Panel > then go to Clock, Language and Region > Choose Region Language > then Keyboard and Language Tab > then Change Keyboard and then change your input method to you desire Language.

How do I uninstall an input method in Win 7?

Dear Fried I would like to add one more thing to the good answer above. You can use this method to install a new input language or remove an input language.

Or you can remain the two languages at the same time and convert between them by using ALT+SHIFT and you can adjust the default input method to displayed at first .

So if you like to remove the Chinese language in the same window choose it and then click remove.

How do I uninstall an input method in Win 7?

The keyboard layout manages which characters appear on the screen when you press the keys on your keyboard. Some input languages have a number of keyboard layouts, others have only one.

This can make it easier to enter text or edit documents in multiple languages.

Input languages are involved with all editions of Windows 7, but you need to add them to your list of languages before you can use them.

By default, your keyboard input language will be the same language selected during the installation of Windows 7.
