How do I use Google Docs

My daughter has to use Google Docs for a project for school and I have never used it before. I do not have a gmail account. Can we use it without having gmail, or do we have to sign up for an account? Can I use it and link it to my yahoo email account? Thanks for any help!

How do I use Google Docs

Actually, it is possible to access, edit and share Google Docs very easily without owing a Gmail account.

Nevertheless, you should own a Google account and have to log in to it in order to access the Docs, which is of course different from a Gmail account.

Also, it is possible to share and link it with your Yahoo account.
