How do I view and convert mdi linux Ubuntu?

I received an mdi image file and I can't open it in Ubuntu.  I've also tried to open it with Microsoft Office 2011 but gives a "file not recognized" error.  How do I view and convert mdi linux Ubuntu in Windows 7 64 bit?  Need help on this.  Thanks.

How do I view and convert mdi linux Ubuntu?

Hello,

You can open your MDI of TIFF file In your Microsoft Office version. Find your Microsoft Office folder and click on Microsoft Office Tools. Then open the Microsoft Office Document Imaging and from file menu you can open your MDI file. If you can’t find Microsoft Document Image go  to this link: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/982760/install-modi-for-use-with-microsoft-office-2010 and find the updates to get the additional details that you need.
