Hi Eric,

A crashed file is a destroyed file you cannot edit it or open it. You can never view your pending work. All you can do is find the recent files because Microsoft office has made an auto recovery file. So you can open this file and might recover your work not same as you have saved your file in the last work you have done but you can recover let say half of your work.

That's the last resort we can do about this. Please check your excel if its running good sometimes it happens if your excellence is corrupted all your save files will be corrupted.

Hello Ericson good day and your issue can be fixed as follows.

> Convert that document from excel to word so that you can migrate the data from the word to new excel so that you can finish up the pending work and this the only way that is best.

> Microsoft Office  has the major advantage of saving the data automatically when the crash occurs so hope the data will be present if not available backup the data using software so that the data you lost will be backed up to the HD back as you can complete the pending work.

Thanks.
