How do you take photos with Skype?

Hi,

I want to take photos with Skype just like a snapshot. But I can't do it. How do you do it? Please, tell me in details.

How do you take photos with Skype?

Hi Bray Slattery,

You can easily take photos with Skype just like a snapshot. You have to follow the following instructions:

1. Logged in to Skype and select “tools” from the menu bar at the top of the Skype window.
2. Now you have to navigate down to “options” and then select “video settings” from the left hand side menu. Web cam will automatically turn on and you will see your real time playback.
3. Just below your video click “take a video snapshot”. A new video will open. Take a snapshot and wait three seconds for the picture to take.
4. Adjust the size of the box. When you are satisfied with the size and position of your photo, click “save snapshot”.
5. From the library picture select your chosen photo.

How do you take photos with Skype?

Hi,

Its very easy and simple to take pictures by Skype. Just follow these steps

1. Sign in your Skype ID.

2. You will find Tool option on the menu bar click on it and then on the option.

3. On the left there will be an option with the name of the video setting. Click on it and it will open a window. Make sure the webcam is connected and it will show your picture to you.

4. Now take as many snapshots as you want.

If you want to take a snapshot during video call just press + button and take the picture then. It will be shown to you in the snap shot gallery.

How do you take photos with Skype?

Hello Bray,

Well this a simple task you can do in few seconds. It's the same way you take the screen shot of your desktop. To do this please follow the following steps:

1. First sign in to your Skype, start the video chat with whom you want to take a photo.

2. Now whenever you take the snapshot just press Print Screen (sysRq) button found on your keyboard.

3. Now open paint and press Ctrl+V 

4. Save it as JPEG format

There is another way to take a snapshot during the video call. Just press Ctrl+S it will take the desired snapshot.
